Iranian feature film ‘Ako’ is slated to participate in two international film festivals in India and Italy.
Directed by Nabi Gholizadeh, the family drama will be screened at the second edition of Literature Information Film Frame Television and Theatre (LIFFT) in India.
The 2018 Retro Avant Garde Film Festival in Italy will also host the screening session of ‘Ako’.
“Every product has a story and every porter has a secret in Tehran’s Grand Bazaar. Ako does not want anyone to know his secret,” the plot summary reads.
Literature Information Film Frame Television and Theatre (LIFFT) India aims to promote the best of film, new media and television content produced by independent, student and professional filmmakers from across the globe.
The second edition of LIFFT will feature 120 films from 30 countries in 27 languages and introduce 47 first-time directors.
The Indian film event will take place on December 6-10, 2018 in Lonavala near Mumbai.
